English requirement

Proof of language proficiency in English (level B2). Accepted certificates include TOEFL iBT 88 (at least 22 points in each of the 4 skills) or IELTS Academic 6.5 (at least 6.5 points in each of the 4 skills), among others.

Prior degree required

The successful completion of a Bachelor's degree from Chemistry and Chemical Technology (JKU), Biological Chemistry (JKU), Technical Chemistry (TU Wien), or Chemistry (NAWI Graz, University of Vienna, or University of Innsbruck). If you graduated from a similar degree program at another university, university of applied sciences, or another recognized educational institution, you can also be admitted to the program, provided the content and scope of your studies are comparable with the Bachelor's degree programs in Chemistry and Chemical Technology or Biological Chemistry at the JKU.
