Prior degree required

Candidates with a degree in a substantively related academic Bachelor of Science (BSc) programme are directly admissible to the Master's programme in Political Science. This also applies to candidates who have completed a minor of 30 EC in the field of this Master's programme next to a bachelor of the faculty of social sciences at the VU. All candidates with an academic Bachelor (of Science) or Master's programme that is not content-related to the Master's programme in Political Science, must complete a bridging programme.
