About MSc Data Science
European Master's programmes in data science, business analytics and applied AI vary widely by focus — some sit in computer science departments and expect strong programming and mathematics, others sit in business schools and start from a business-decisions frame. The strongest technical programmes cluster at TU Delft, TU Munich, ETH Zurich, EPFL, KU Leuven and Politecnico di Milano; the strongest business-analytics ones at Bocconi, LBS, Esade and HEC. Tuition is typically €2k–€25k / year, with public Nordic and German programmes at the low end. Most programmes now list machine-learning prerequisite courses explicitly; some accept quantitative bachelors from any discipline, others require CS or maths.
